Prepare the field context

Orchard and vineyard access

Provide row spacing, canopy height, slope and walking access. Ask a supplier to describe the discharge pattern and its test conditions rather than relying on a maximum reach figure. Compare liquid flow at a defined nozzle setting with the intended application rate.

Carrying a filled tank changes the operating task. Include filled mass, harness adjustment, refill locations and the intended work interval in the requirement. The equipment proposal must be assessed against the actual site.

Nursery and specialty crops

Describe the crop, container spacing and any sensitivity to contact or drift. Specify the formulation to be used and request compatibility confirmation for tank, hose, seals and nozzle materials. Do not treat one chemical compatibility statement as approval for another mixture.

For enclosed growing areas, ask the responsible operator to review the product label, ventilation and exposure requirements before considering a mist application. Procurement support does not establish safe application conditions.

Contractor and distributor orders

Separate each configuration, quantity and accessory package. A distributor may need consistent packaging and parts identifiers; a contractor may need interchangeable batteries or a repair kit. Both require a written list of what is included.

Record the US destination, seasonal delivery objective and acceptance process for each shipment stage. Ask who supplies manuals, spare parts and warranty support rather than assuming a local dealer relationship.

Scenario: backpack access versus field coverage

A grower considering a backpack for isolated blocks first records access, area, tank volume and refill intervals. Ground boom equipment needs suitable vehicle access and working width; drone proposals add a different operating and approval scope. The purchasing outcome is a separated comparison of methods, not an assumed productivity gain.

Keep nozzle type, flow, pressure and application-rate basis visible. ULV ultra-low-volume spraying is a separate application requirement, not a label that makes any mist blower interchangeable with another delivery method.

Scenario: larger tank versus carrying demand

An importer asks for a larger tank to reduce refills. The review then requests dry and filled mass, harness details and the refill plan. The outcome is a model-specific verification question: does the intended operator accept the complete carrying task? A larger nominal volume is not enough to answer it.

For sample evaluation, record the exact model and nozzle, liquid test medium, measured discharge volume, timed interval and operating setting. Compare the observations with the supplier's stated conditions. Agree who performs the test and how deviations are recorded.
